Modern Slavery Act Statement
HCP Group's commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains, pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
1. Introduction
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes HCP Group Limited's Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for the financial year ending 2025.
HCP Group Limited is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships. We are committed to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains.
2. Our Business
HCP Group Limited is an automotive advisory firm registered in England and Wales (registered office: 2 The Pavilions, 37 Brighton Road, South Croydon, Surrey, CR2 6EB, United Kingdom). We provide strategic and operational advisory services to businesses and sophisticated clients in the global automotive sector.
As a professional services firm, our operations are primarily knowledge-based. We do not manufacture goods, operate physical retail premises, or maintain complex multi-tier supply chains involving high-risk labour-intensive activities.
3. Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains consist principally of professional services providers, technology and software vendors, office services suppliers, and communications and marketing partners. Given the nature of our business, we consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct supply chains to be low.
We nonetheless recognise our responsibility to be vigilant and to take reasonable steps to ensure that our suppliers share our commitment to ethical conduct.
4. Policies in Relation to Slavery and Human Trafficking
We are committed to ensuring there is transparency in our own business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains. We expect the same high standards from all of our contractors, suppliers and other business partners.
Our internal policies reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. These include our code of conduct, anti-bribery and corruption policy, and supplier engagement standards.
5. Due Diligence Processes
As part of our efforts to monitor and reduce the risk of modern slavery occurring within our supply chains, we undertake the following due diligence measures:
- •Assessing the nature and risk profile of suppliers before engagement
- •Reviewing supplier practices and, where appropriate, requesting information on their own modern slavery policies
- •Including contractual provisions requiring suppliers to comply with applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015
- •Maintaining an open-door policy for staff to raise concerns about unethical conduct without fear of reprisal
6. Risk Assessment and Management
We have assessed the risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains as low, given the professional services nature of our operations and the jurisdictions in which we and our principal suppliers operate. We will continue to review this assessment on an annual basis and update our practices accordingly.
7. Training and Awareness
We ensure that our staff are aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and understand how to identify and report concerns. Awareness of this statement and the obligations it reflects forms part of our onboarding process for new team members.
8. Key Performance Indicators
We measure the effectiveness of our steps to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains by monitoring the following:
- •Annual review and update of this statement
- •Completion of supplier due diligence for new engagements
- •Zero confirmed incidents of modern slavery identified within our business or supply chains
9. Approval
This statement has been approved by the board of HCP Group Limited and will be reviewed and updated annually.
