Biography

Mohit Bhargava is a Partner at HCP Group and one of the GCC automotive sector's most experienced finance and transformation advisers. With over two decades of experience spanning the Middle East, India and global markets, he brings a rare combination of operational depth and transactional expertise to every engagement.

His automotive career has taken him to the heart of the region's most complex organisations. At Al Futtaim, he served as Head of Growth for Future Mobility, leading EV distribution strategy, digital ventures and feasibility studies across five automotive brands, positioning the group at the forefront of the region's transition to new mobility. At Petromin Corporation, he played a central role in the Group's finance transformation, M&A programme and IPO preparation, leading a process that involved the carve-out of eight business verticals and a negotiated valuation increase of SAR 250 to 300 million.

Earlier in his career, Mohit spent several years at Deloitte Corporate Finance, advising on acquisition mandates, sell-side transactions and fraud investigations. He also held senior roles at Al Jaber and Bukhatir Group, where he led debt restructuring programmes at scale, including a landmark AED 16 billion restructuring at Al Jaber, alongside large-scale finance transformation initiatives.

Across his career, Mohit has sourced and evaluated more than 180 mobility deals, closed over ten transactions, and executed seven sell-side mandates. He has raised billions in equity and debt capital from banks, private equity funds, family offices and strategic investors across the GCC and beyond.

At HCP Group, Mohit advises dealer groups, family offices and automotive investors on M&A strategy, capital structuring, IPO readiness, and finance transformation. He brings to clients not only technical rigour but the credibility of someone who has led these processes from the inside, at the highest levels of the industry.
